This macaw was mightily relieved when he was reunited with his Kilkenny family after a public appeal.
The exotic bird had been missing from his home in the Hebron Road area of the city.
However, the long-tailed parrot was later spotted on the roof of a nearby shopping centre before being reunited with its owner.
