Burglars smash in windows during break-in at house in Kilkenny village
Burglars tried to force their way into a home in rural Kilkenny after smashing the glass in the front patio door.
The break-in occurred at Hill Road in Kilmoganny sometime between Saturday, February 27 and Wednesday, March 3.
A local Garda source confirmed the owners returned to find the glass in the patio doors smashed by rocks. But despite gaining entry and searching the house it appears nothing was taken.
Potential eyewitnesses of anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity in the area at the time is asked to contact Thomastown Garda Station.
