WEATHER WARNING: Kilkenny braced for Big Freeze over next week – Met Éireann
Wrap up warm because it is going to turn cold in Kilkenny for the rest of the week.
Kilkenny County Council and Met Éireann have just issued a weather advisory warning for the county predicting freezing temperatures, frost, ice and snow which is set to last up until Sunday night.
The advisory issued by both agencies says it will be: “Turning colder from Wednesday with weather conditions becoming increasingly wintry for the rest of the week.
“Risk of frost and icy conditions, with falls of sleet or snow at times.”
The warning comes into effect from midnight tonight and is set to last until 11pm Sunday.
