WEATHER WARNING: Temperatures about to plummet overnight
Temperatures in Kilkenny are set to plummet overnight causing freezing conditions making driving dangerous.
Met Éireann have issued a Yellow Alert – Low Temperature Warning for 22 counties including Kilkenny.
The national weather forecaster said it will be “Very cold tonight. Minimum air temperatures will range -2C to -4C.
“Widespread severe frost with the risk of icy patches. Some pockets of freezing fog also.
The warning is valid from 9pm this evening until 10am Monday, November 18.
Every county in Ireland is included in the warning except for Waterford, Wexford, Wicklow and Dublin.
