Kilkenny suspects in horror sex attack on young girls give DNA samples to gardai

DNA samples have been taken from a group of juvenile males, some who are from Kilkenny, suspected of being involved in a high-profile sexual attack on three young girls.
The alleged incident took place at Burrow in Courtown, Co Wexford around midnight on Sunday, July 28. Homes in Kilkenny were raided in the wake of the alleged horror assaults, but no arrests were made at the time.
It has now emerged that gardai investigating the sexual assaults have taken DNA samples from a group of five males and spoken to them about the alleged brutal assaults.
Three teenage girls aged 14, 15 and 17 were allegedly sexually assaulted at a beach in Co Wexford. The 14-year-old girl was allegedly raped.
All three girls were brought to Dublin and examined in a specialist sex assault unit after the incident.
A number of males were questioned in connection with the a number of males, and carrying out a raid in Kilkenny last month, no arrests have been made in connections with the alleged triple sex attack.
