Brolly up! Kilkenny included in new Status Yellow rainfall warning
KILKENNY has been included in a new Status Yellow rainfall warning issued by Met Éireann.
The warning comes into effect from 6pm this evening until 6am tomorrow and covers all of Leinster, and also counties Waterford and Cork.
The gloomy outlook comes after national forecaster earlier delivered some good news on the weather front – that temperatures are to hit 25 degrees and higher next week.
But first we’ll have to endure a very wet end to the weekend, with outbreaks of rain and scattered thundery downpours leading to 25-40mm of water in places.
