MARBLE CITY NIGHTS: Sinéad Connolly’s going-out guide to Kilkenny this weekend

THE sun is splitting the stones so get out and top up on some vitamin D! And if the forecast is as good as they’re making out you may as well stock up on some vitamin B(eer) while basking in the sun in Kilkenny’s finest outdoor venues this weekend.

If you fancy cocktails, music, beer and an outdoor area check out Biddy Early’s and Brogans Bar to get your weekend started. Pat Fitz & Band will be playing at the Left Bank from 10pm tonight, followed by Late Night Social with a DJ in LB2.

Tomorrow night Rafter Dempseys has live music from 10pm, or you can grab a bite to eat at Paris Texas and enjoy the DJ from 9pm. Or if you just you fancy a boogie head on down to Langton’s or the Marble City Bar.

If you are still in the mood for music on Sunday, Kevin & Eugene take to the stage at the Dylan Whiskey Bar at 9:30pm or you can sway the evening away to live jazz music at the Left Bank from 5pm.
