‘Lucky no one was seriously injured’ – thugs smash window of moving car

A NUMBER of moving cars sustained damage when they were targetted by people throwing stones at them on Friday night.

This serious incident happened on the Callan Road just after 9 pm.

One car had its passenger window smashed as it was driving on the Callan Road, while a second car had its roof damaged.

A local garda spokesperson told KilkennyNow.ie: “It’s lucky someone wasn’t seriously injured.”

There were no injuries reported and only the cars sustained damage.
