Kilkenny partnership nominated for prestigious arts award

A KILKENNY partnership of two business success stories has demonstrated what can be achieved when they combine their talents.
The partnership between the Cartoon Saloon and the Butler Gallery has once again displayed their talents as their project “The Breadwinner – Exhibition” is nominated for a prestigious national award.
The exhibition tells the story of the planning through to the completion of the film – The Breadwinner.
The partnership’s project received a nomination for the prestigious Allianz Business to Arts Awards. The category the project is selected in is one of the most revered and coveted in the Arts industry.
The awards showcase a diverse range of creative partnerships incorporating architecture, dance, design, film, music, literature, theatre and visual art.
The Cartoon Saloon and Bulter Gallery project, ‘Song of the Sea: The Exhibition’, won the Best Mid-Size Sponsorship category in the 2016 Allianz Business to Arts Awards.
The 2019 Allianz Business to Arts Awards will be presented on September 3rd at Bord Gáis Energy Theatre, Dublin.
