50 new jobs for Kilkenny as Taoiseach opens new offices in city

FIFTY new jobs in have been created in Kilkenny after Taoiseach Leo Varadkar officially opened the new offices of a city-based company that has more than 19,000 clients across the country.

Mr Varadkar was on hand to cut the ribbon on the new offices of IFAC Ireland, a company that supports and develops food and agri-business companies, in Danville, Kilkenny yesterday.

The new offices are part of a €2 million investment in Kilkenny, which will result in the creation of 50 new jobs. The offices will be the hub for employment services, audit, farm, and small and medium enterprise services for IFAC’s business.

The Taoiseach was joined at the official opening by IFAC CEO John Donoghue.@

Mr Varadkar said: “Today’s opening is a good news story for farming, for Kilkenny and also a good news story for Ireland as well.”
