Insurers force Kilkenny tourist park close some attractions
A POPULAR tourist attraction in Kilkenny is the latest business to fall foul of the lack of an insurance broker in the Irish leisure industry market.
Nore Valley Park in Annamult, Bennetsbridge announced via twitter they have had to close some of the facilities in the park and petting zoo ‘until further notice,” as insurers are no longer willing to cover certain attractions.
The park which is celebrating its 30th birthday this year, has been forced to shut down its 3D maze and the straw bounceat the park. Management were were at pains to let the public know that this insurance issue will not defeat them, and the park is still open for business.
Attractions such as the zoo, karting, crazy-golf and the playground are still open.
