Kilkenny Animated festival needs volunteers to help draw a crowd

AN international festival being held in Kilkenny, which has attracted Netflix as a partner, is looking for volunteers to assist.

Now in its second year, Kilkenny Animated needs bodies over the festival’s duration and help maintain its place as the world’s leading animation festival.

Kilkenny Animated celebrates the best of Irish and international artists committed to the art of visual storytelling in all its forms.

Organisers say: “It’s a great chance to be part of a weekend jam-packed with animation, illustration, comedy, music, films & lots more!

The festival is hosted by the twice-Academy Award nominated animation studio, Cartoon Saloon and is the first festival of its kind in the world to bring together so many different aspects of visual storytelling for the enjoyment and appreciation of the wider public audience.
