Kilkenny camogie sharpshooter nominated for Player of the Year

A KILKENNY camogie star has been shortlisted for Player of the Year by her peers.
Mullinavat’s Michelle Quilty has made the three-lady shortlist for the Players’ Player of the Year Awards.
Quilty shone in Kilkenny’s All-Ireland semi-final win against Tipperary scoring 1-9 and scored eight points in the Cats defeat to Galway in the All-Ireland final earlier this month.
She is joined on the shortlists for the fifth Camogie Association/WGPA Players’ Player of the Year Awards by the Galway pair of Sarah Dervan and Niamh Kilkenny.
The winners will be announced at the Camogie All-Stars Awards in Dublin on October 16.
