Walk over water: Second charity walk across Ireland’s longest bridge confirmed for Saturday

A second charity walk across Ireland’s longest bridge – linking counties Kilkenny and Wexford – will go ahead this weekend.

Due to overwhelming demand, organisers have decided to go ahead with a second charity walk across the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy bridge linking Kilkenny and Wexford, which will take place this Saturday.

Tickets for the first charity walk across the bridge this Sunday sold out within two just days .

Once the bridge opens next Wednesday, January 29, pedestrians will not be able to use it as the bridge is a vehicle only structure.

All monies raised from the charity walks will go towards Special Olympics Ireland, New Ross Community Hospital and Kilkenny Homecare.

Tickets are available to buy online from 6pm today.
