BREAKING: Kilkenny motorway closed after serious crash, diversions in place
A section of the M9 motorway in Kilkenny has been closed following a serious accident.
The crash occured near the Paulstown junction.
The M9 has been closed between Junction 7 Paulstown and traffic has been diverted via Kilkenny city.
There has been no resports of casualties yet.
A local Garda spokesperson confirmed. “As a result of serious road traffic collision, M9 closed southbound at Junction 7, Paulstown. All traffic diverted off M9 southbound at J7 and use old R712 into Kilkenny City.”
