Heartless thieves steal wedding ring and jewellery during break-in at county Kilkenny house

Thieves forced their way through the front door of a house in county Kilkenny and made off with jewellery, including a wedding ring.

The burglary occurred a house in property in Caherleske, Dunnamaggin sometime between 6.30pm on Friday evening and 9.30am on Saturday.

The thieves ransacked the house before stealing items of jewellery.

A local Garda spokesperson confirmed the front door “was forced open”, adding: “The house had been ransacked, jewellery had been taken including a wedding ring.”

Potential witnesses or motorists with dashcam footage who may have noticed any specific vehicles in the area at the time is asked to contact Thomastown Garda Station.
