LATEST: Kilkenny among counties with highest new cases of virus
There has been no further coronavirus-related deaths but 301 new cases of Covid-19 were confirmed this evening.
It brings the overall death told as a result of the virus to 2,099. There are now 74,246 confirmed cases of Covid-19 across the country, according to the latest daily briefing from the National Public Health Emergency Team (NPHET).
The breakdown of the latest cases is as follow: 119 are in Dublin, 32 in Donegal, 16 in Cork, 13 in Kildare, 13 in Kilkenny with the remaining 108 cases are spread across 18 other counties.
