REST IN PEACE: Kilkenny Death Notices

Maher (“Enview”, Garden Villas, Kilkenny & formerly of Heslin and Maher, Parliament Street)) 17th February 2021, unexpectedly, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Peter, predeceased by his wife Mary, parents James and Della, sister Della and daughter-in-law Tracey, beloved father of James, Lorraine, Derek, Brian and Yvonne, sadly missed by his loving family, sister Dorothy, sons-in-law Dara and Ross, daughter-in-law Sharon, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, his adoring grandchildren Jamie, Saoirse, Abby, Cillian, Aoibhinn, Oisín, Karl, Zara, Maia, Cooper, Louis and Emilia, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

In accordance with current Government/H.S.E. guidelines and in the interest of Public Health and the safety of our most vulnerable, a private family funeral will take place for Peter (max of 10 people). Eileen THORNTON (née O’Brien)
Moate Road, Ballyragget

Peacefully at Waterford Regional Hospital, wife of the late Mick. Predeceased by her sons Michael and Thomas. Deeply regretted by her daughters Ann, Eileen, Geraldine and Deirdre, sisters Kathleen and Francis, sons-in-law, brother-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

In accordance with H.S.E. guidelines a private Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday at 12.00 noon in St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyragget, followed by burial immediately afterwards in St. Finnan’s Cemetery. Due to the increased risk of infection, you are asked not to congregate in the churchyard or it’s surrounds in the interest of public safety and in compliance with the current guidelines of 10 people only in the Church or cemetery.

Teresa WALL (née Bergin)
Fatima Place, Kilkenny City

Wall (nee Bergin) (31 Fatima Place, Kilkenny) 16th February 2021, peacefully, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Teresa, predeceased by her husband Seamus, granddaughter Therese and brother Seamus, much loved mother of Margaret, Anne, Barbara and Seamus, sadly missed by her loving family, sister Sheila (Hamilton), sons-in-law P.J and John, daughter-in-law Amanda, grandchildren Michelle, Patricia, James, John, David, Anthony, Stephen, Kelly, Killian, Dylan and Ryan, great grandchildren, brother-in-law, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

In accordance with current Government/H.S.E. guidelines and in the interest of Public Health and the safety of our most vulnerable, a private family funeral will take place for Teresa (max of 10 people). Her funeral will arrive at St. Mary’s Cathedral on Thursday (18th Feb) evening for Reception Prayers at 7 o’clock. Requiem Mass on Friday at 11 o’clock.

Teresa’s funeral cortege will pass by her home in Fatima Place on Friday at 12 noon approx for neighbours and friends who may like to stand outside to pay their last respects. Those wishing to leave a message of condolence for Teresa’s family can do so here.
