Burglars break into county Kilkenny farm and make off with valuable machinery
Machinery and livestock feed were stolen during a break-in at a farm in county Kilkenny.
The theft occurred at a farm in Newtown, Kilmacow between 9.30pm yesterday evening and 6.30am this morning.
A local Garda source said the burglars gained access to the milking parlour and a number of farmyard sheds before making their getaway.
They stole a Honda petrol power washer worth €800, four bags of calf nuts, an animal hair clippers and bags of seeds.
Gardai believe the culprits would have needed transport to move the stolen items.
