REST IN PEACE: Kilkenny Death Notices

Philomena (Phil) FAHY (née Kavanagh)
Whitewood, Johnswell Road, Kilkenny City

Fahy (nee Kavanagh) (3 Whitewood, Johnswell Road, Kilkenny and formerly of Barrack St. and Swords, Co. Dublin) 10th September 2021, peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny. Philomena (Phil), predeceased by her husband Frank and infant daughter Serena, sadly missed by her loving son Keith, sisters Peachie and Annette, brothers John, Frankie and Jim, daughter-in-law Jean, grandchildren Caelan and Andra, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews , nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Phil will be reposing at her home on Monday (13th Sept) from 5pm to 7pm for family and close friends. (House private at all other times please). Removal on Tuesday morning to St. John’s Church, Kilkenny for Requiem Mass at 11.30am which may be viewed at https://www.stjohnskilkenny.com/webcam/.

Funeral afterwards to Mount Jerome Crematorium, Dublin for Committal Service in the Victorian Chapel at 2.30 pm which may also be viewed at https://www.mountjerome.ie/victorian-chapel-service/

No flowers please. Donations, if desired, to the Irish Cancer Society https://www.cancer.ie

Due to H.S.E. guidelines the funeral Mass will be limited to 50% of Church capacity and all social distancing, face covering and hand shaking protocols should be adhered too. If you wish to leave a message of condolence for Phil’s family, please do so here.
