Thieves break into Kilkenny premises and make off with €1,000 worth of hedges
Thieves broke into a premises on the outskirts of Kilkenny city and made off with hedges valued at more than €1,000.
The theft of the Portugese hedges occurred at a commercial premises on the Callan Road sometime between 5pm on Sunday and 9am on Wednesday.
A local Garda spokepserson confirmed: “The hedges are worth over €1,000. Anyone who is offered hedging for sale or who has any information is asked to contact Kilkenny Garda Station.”
