LATEST: Over 23,000 new cases of virus but ICU numbers drop
A further 23,817 people have contracted Covid-19, the Department of Health confirmed this evening.
There are now 941 patients being treated for the virus in hospital, a rise of 13 since yesterday.
Of these, 90 people are being treated in ICU, a drop of four.
