MW Keller & Son Solicitors LLP was founded by Maurice Keller in Waterford in 1941. In little time at all, their practice became renowned for its involvement in a high-profile case, representing Paddy O’Sullivan of O’Sullivan & Sons in Waterford – who had been found in breach of the rationing laws of the time.
By 1967, MW Keller & Son Solicitors LLP moved to its present location in Gladstone Street, Waterford. Over the coming years, Maurice’s sons, Mark and Niall, would join the practice. In 1987, the firm acquired the adjacent building in Gladstone Street so as to modernise and expand the office facilities.
The firm was also notably appointed as the local solicitor for the Irish Permanent Building Society. As incomes were inconsistent at the time, this feather in the cap ensured that a steady number of people could continue to receive assistance from MW Keller & Son Solicitors LLP.
