Two beloved pets missing from Kilkenny home amid spate of local dognappings

The hunt is on for two pure bred dogs who went missing in county Kilkenny earlier this week.

An appeal has been launched to find the two Setters, who have been missing from their home in Windgap for several days.

The black and white coloured dogs, one with a distinctive patch on its eye, have not been located despite an extensive search throughout the week.

Anyone with information about dogs whereabouts or who may have spotted them in recent days is asked to contact Thomastown Garda Station 056 775 4150.

Meanwhile, gardai are looking for assistance regarding yet another dog theft within the division.

Two Cavachon pups  were stolen from the Garryhill area of county Carlow yesterday.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Bagnelstown Garda Station on 059 972 1212.

Gardai are also still looking for information regarding the theft of 16 pups and their mothers from a house in Ballon in county Carlow last week.

Anyone who has been offered pups for sale over the past few days is urged to contact their local Garda station.
