Back of the net! Kilkenny GAA club gets green light for new pitch and facilities
A county Kilkenny GAA club has been given the green light to build a new playing pitch and car park.
Tullogher Rosbercon GAA club had sought permission from Kilkenny County Council to level an existing agricultural field to provide a new “full size GAA playing field” along with the installation of goalposts and nets.
It also sought approval for the construction of an emergency access road and an extension of the existing car park to provide 40 additional spacesm as well as the installation of bicycle parking facilities “and all associated site works” at Brownstown and Ballyknock, Tullogher.
The local authority gave the plans their stamp of approval. It is expected work on the development will get underway soon.
