Banned driver busted as he drove past Kilkenny Garda Station

A disqualified driver was caught red-handed after he drove past Kilkenny Garda Station.

Officers pursued the driver after his vehicle was red flagged on a Garda mobility device. He was arrested and charged to appear before Kilkenny District Court.

A local Garda spokesperson confirmed: “Gardaí from Unit C using a mobility device checked this vehicle as they followed it as it drove past the Garda Station. A warning flagged the driver as Disqualified.

“He was duly arrested and charged to Kilkenny District Court. His vehicle was impounded under Section 41 of the Road Traffic Act.”
