Banned driver caught behind wheel of a Merc in Kilkenny city
A disqualified motorist’s E-Class Mercedes was seized by gardai after they were caught driving the car in Kilkenny city.
In a social media post which showed the vehicle hoisted onto a tow truck, local gardai commented, “when an E Class is driven by a D class.”
They said the driver “will have an opportunity to get their steps up as their saloon makes its way to our compound”, adding they will be facing “a trip to the District Court”.
