Body found following sea and air search for missing man off Waterford coast
A body has been recovered following the massive sea and air search off the Waterford coast for a man in his 50s reported missing yesterday.
The body was discovered at Stradbally Cove earlier this afternoon.
The Waterford Rescue Helicopter 117, as well as the lifeboats from both Tramore and Bonmahon were involved in the search, which was centred on a specific stretch of coast close to Stradbally at Ballyvoyle Head.
Rescue divers were also searching the area, while gardai undertook land searches in that vicinity.
