Body of man discovered at scene of attempted break-in
The body of a man was discovered at his home after gardai received a report of a break-in at the same address.
The 50-year-old man was discovered at his home in St Michael’s Road, Drumcondra, Dublin 9 last night.
Gardaí received a call that a number of men where attempting to break into a house at approximately 11pm. But when officers arrived at the house the men had left the scene and the victim’s body was found.
A Garda spokesperson said this morning: “The body remains at the scene at this time and the Coroner has been notified and the State Pathologist will visit the scene later this morning.
