Brave Kilkenny homeowner confronts three balaclava-clad burglars

Three burglars wearing balaclavas fled from a county Kilkenny house after they were disturbed by the homeowner.

The thieves had forced open the front door to gain access to the property in Johnstown at around 8pm on Tuesday.

However, a local Garda source confirmed the burglars “fled on foot” in the direction of the Galmoy Road after they were confronted by owner of the home.
