Brazen thieves steal bike from driveway of Kilkenny home – and the lock too!
An expensive bike was stolen from the driveway of a Kilkenny house. And to add insult to injury the thieves stole the lock used to secure the bicycle too.
The theft occurred at a house on Dukes Meadow in Kilkenny sometime between 10.30pm on Tuesday, May 1 and 8.45am on Wednesday, May 2.
The bike, a grey Carrera, was locked in the driveway. The thieves managed to break the lock, steal the bike, and the lock was also stolen.
Witnesses or anyone may have noticed any suspicious actvitity in the area at the time is asked to contact Kilkenny Garda Station on 056 777 5000.
