BREAKING: Kilkenny among 1,025 new cases of virus
There has been no further coronavirus related deaths but 1,025 new cases of Covid-19 were confirmed this evening.
The overall death toll as a result of the virus currently stands at 1,882. There are now57,128 confirmed cases of Covid-19 across the country, according to the latest daily briefing from the National Public Health Emergency Team (NPHET).
The breakdown of the latest cases is as follows: 255 cases are in Dublin, 147 in Cork, 77 in Galway, 54 in Kildare, 53 in Donegal with 439 cases are spread across the remaining 21 counties.
