Man crushed to death in workplace tragedy in South Kilkenny

A MAN was killed in a workplace accident in county Kilkenny after he was crushed under the contents of a trailer he was unloading.
The tragedy occurred at a port services company in Bellview Point in South Kilkenny at around 4,30pm yesterday.
It is understood the man, who has not yet been named, was killed when he was emptying his trailer and became stuck under the load.
Gardaí and emergency services rushed to the scene of the accident. However, the man was pronounced dead at the scene, a Garda spokesman confirmed.
The Health and Safety Authority (HSA) has been notified about the fatal incident and an investigation into the tragedy is now underway.

Before you post articles like this you should get the facts on an incident. It is completely unfair to the family and friends of this young man. He was not crushed to death he had an abrasion to the head which is what caused the fatality; yes he was stuck under the load but no that is not what killed him. I hope you are happy with the upset you caused the family during their time of grief.
