Burglar ransacks house in county Kilkenny and steals sum of cash
A burglar ransacked a house in county Kilkenny before making off with a quantity of cash.
The break-in occurred at a property in the Great Oak area of Callan on Friday afternoon.
A local Garda source confirmed: “A rear window was forced open and the house was ransacked, a small quantity of coins were taken.”
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity in the area between 3pm and 6pm to contact them at Callan Garda Station.
