Burglar tries to break into house in Kilkenny city in broad daylight
Local gardai are trying to trace a burglar who tried to break into a house in Kilkenny city this week.
The attempted burglary took place at a house in Glendine Heights sometime between 3pm and 3.30pm on Tuesday.
Gardai confirmed the thief did not gain entry to the property and nothing was taken from the house.
They have asked potential witnesses or anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity in the areas at the time to contact Kilkenny Garda Station on 056 777 5000.
