Plans for new development of 35 homes in Kilkenny town

PLAN for a development of 35 new homes have been resubmitted to Kilkenny County Council.

The Cois na Bearu development in Graiguenamanagh would create homes for more than 130 people.

Corestone 4 Ltd has resubmitted the planning application to the council for the construction of the houses on the northern outskirts of the south Kilkenny town.

The planning application is for the construction of 33 two-storey houses and two single-storey houses.  The development would see six four-bedroom houses built,  15 three-bed houses and 14 two-bed houses built.

The application also allows for the provision of a children’s play area, 70 car parking spaces, provision of a new estate road and pavements, an attenuation tank and all associated site development works on a site. The application includes a Natura Impact Assessment (NIS).
