Burglars make off with haul of tools after break-in at county Kilkenny business park

Gardai are hunting for burglars who stole expensive equipment from the grounds of a business in Callan.

The burglary occurred at the Westcourt Business Park in the county Kilkenny town sometime between 10am last Friday, May 15 and 5pm on Tuesday, May 19.

The burglars made their way onto the grounds of a business in the park, but they did not enter the building. Instead, they broke into a shed situated beside the building and took a sizeable amount of tools as well as a ladder from the business.

Gardai in Callan are investigating the theft. They have urged potential witnesses or anyone noticed any suspicious activity in the area over the weekend to contact 056 777 5016.
