Burglar smashed front door of home in Kilkenny village while owner was away
Gardai are investigating an attempted break-in of a house in a county Kilkenny village.
The incident happened at Comeragh View, Mooncoin between 7pm on Saturday, February 8 and 11am on Sunday, February 9.
The homeowner, who was not at the property at the time of the incident, returned home to find a glass panel in the front door had been smashed in. Despite the damage, no entry was gained to the house.
Gardai are investigating the break-in. Eyewitnesses or anyone may have notices any suspicious activity in the area at that time is urged to contact Mooncoin Garda Station on 051 895 122.
