Burst main leaves several parts of county Kilkenny without water from tonight
HUNDREDS of homes in county Kilkenny will be without water from 9pm tonight as a result of a burst water main.
Kilkenny County Council confirmed the following areas will be affected by the outages: Bennettsbridge, Sheastown, Sevenhouses, Annamult, Ennisnag and Danesfort.
The water supplies in these areas will be cut off overnight until 8am tomorrow to facilitate works to repair the burst main.
Irish Water and Kilkenny County Council apologised “for any inconvenience caused” to householders.
