Vandals smash window of moving Kilkenny city bus while passengers were inside
The Kilkenny city bus service has been targeted yet again after thugs threw a rock at a coach while it was carrying passengers.
The incident occurred at around 3.30pm on Thursday as the bus was travelling along the Hebron Road.
A loca Garda source confirmed a rock was thrown at the bus, smashing a window in the process.
There were a small number of passengers on the bus at the time, but it is understood neither the passengers nor driver were injured during the incident.
A similar incident occurred in early January when a window of a bus was smashed as it travelled through Larchfield.
Gardai are trawling through CCTV footage from the bus involved in the latest incident in a bid to identify the culprits.
Eyewitnesses or anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Kilkenny Garda Station on 056 777 5000.
