Camera shy thieves make off with CCTV installed to monitor bins in Kilkenny village
Thieves stole a CCTV camera that was recently installed in a county Kilkenny village to monitor local recycling bins.
The theft occurred at the Church carpark on Polerone Road, Mooncoin, sometime between 9am on Saturday, June 20 and 4pm on Monday, June 22.
The camera is the property of Kilkenny County Council.
Gardaí have urged witnesses or anyone who knows anything about the theft to contact Mooncoin Garda Station on 051 895 122.
