Car overturned on its side after crash on busy Kilkenny road
Traffic on one of Kilkenny’s busiest roads came to a standstill yesterday evening after a car overturned on its side following a collision.
The two-car crash occurred on the Hebron Road at around 5pm yesterday.
Emergency services arrived at the scene at 5.10pm before the road was cordoned off.
Some people at the scene could be seen kneeling down to speak to some someone who appeared to be trapped in the overturned red car near the traffic lights beside St Kieran’s Cemetery before the ambulance arrived.
Gardai temporarily closed the Hebron Road between the two roundabouts to traffic.
It is not yet known if anyone was seriously injured in the crash.
