Car seized, drink drivers busted in Kilkenny over Easter Bank Holiday weekend
A motorist was caught driving with no insurance after he was stopped by gardai policing roads in Kilkenny over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend.
Gardai confirmed the vehcile was seized under Section 41 of the Road Traffic Act yesterday, adding: “Prosecution to follow.”
Meanwhile, two other drivers were arrested in separate incidents on local roads overnight on Saturday.
A Garda spokesperson said: “One person charged and fixed charge penalty issued to 2nd driver. Three month disqualification if paid, Court if not paid.”
