Cash stolen during overnight break-in at Kilkenny city carpark
A thief smashed the window of a car parked in Kilkenny city and made off with a sum of cash.
The robbery occurred overnight on Saturday.
Local gardai confirmed the vehicle, a blue Peugeot, was parked in a carpark on Abbey Street at the time.
Gardai are investigating the break-in and theft. They have asked witnesses of anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area at the time to contact Kilkenny Garda Station.
