It’s on! GAA confirm Kilkenny’s rescheduled clash with Wexford after Covid outbreak

The Kilkenny V Wexford National League Hurling match postponed last weekend due to an outbreak of Covid-19 in the Model County’s camp has been rescheduled.
Last night the GAA’s Central Competitions Control Committee (CCCC) last night confirmed that the Alliance Hurling League Division 1B game will take place this coming Sunday.
Last weekend’s game was called off at the last moment after two members of the Wexford playing panel tested positive for Covid-19.
Throw-in for the rescheduled game to take place at UPMC Nowlan Park is 3pm.
The game going ahead is once again subject to the Wexford players currently isolating being deemed safe to play by the HSE later this week.
