Almost €7 million paid for Kilkenny’s biggest property transaction last year

Close to €7 million was paid out in the biggest residential transaction in county Kilkenny in 2020.
The €6,881,057 was paid out for sites 1-28 inclusive at Nuncio Park, Deansground in Kilkenny City.
The transaction occurred at the end of November and was the largest deal in the county but quite a distance last year.
Just four deals, according to the Residential Property Price Register release recently, took place in 2020 where properties sold for over €1 million.
Two properties in Kilkenny sold for just over €1million, there was a €1.45 million sale in Thomastown and a €1.35 million sale in Stoneyford.
The sites at Nuncio Park are on the former James Stephen’s GAA pitch site on the Nuncio road.
Respond, the housing association is in the process of developing 50 homes at Nuncio Park, with 28 homes to be created in the first two phases.
