Cocaine and cannabis seized during raids on properties in county Kilkenny

Gardai seized €5,000 worth of cocaine and cannabis in raids on two properties in north Kilkenny in recent days.

In the first planned operation, members of Kilkenny Garda Drugs Unit and by local gardai investigating the sale and supply of controlled drugs seized €3,000 worth of cocaine during a search of a property in the Urlingford area.

They later found €2,000 worth of cannabis in a separate raid on another property nearby.

A local Garda spokesperson confirmed: “Prosecutions will follow.”
