Development of new family homes planned for centre of Kilkenny town

A developer has unveiled plans for a new housing development in Urlingford.

Canview Ltd is seeking permission to complete the existing development at Togher Crescent in Urlingford.

The developer wants to build 14 new semi-detached homes on the half a hectare site close to Urlingford’s town centre.

If approved, the new development will consist of six four-bedroom homes, six three-bed homes and two two-bed homes.

The developer is also seeking permission to alter existing footpaths on the estate and to connect existing public services such as sewerage and water supplies along with other associated site works.

Kilkenny County council is expected to decide on the matter at the beginning of next month.
