Vandals smash up door of house beside one of Kilkenny’s favourite visitor attractions

Vandals caused damage to the door and window of a house right beside one of county Kilkenny most popular visitor attractions.

The damage was caused to the property at Baker’s Quay in Graiguenamanagh, overlooking the scenic dock on the River Barrow, shortly after 9.30pm on Saturday night.

Gardai went to the scene after they received a report of the house being vandalised. When they arrived they saw extensive damage had been done the front door and a window at the property.

However, there was no evidence attempts were made to enter the property.

Potential eyewitnesses or anyone with information about the the incident is asked to contact Graiguenamanagh Garda Station on 059 972 5750.
