Dopey drug driver caught driving wrong way down Kilkenny street
A drug driver was arrested after he was caught driving the wrong way down a street in Kilkenny city.
The suspect was stopped by members of the Kilkenny Roads Policing Unit on Barrack Street earlier this week.
A local Garda spokesperson confirmed an oral test carried out of the man “came back positive for cannabis”.
A further blood sample taken from the suspect at Kilkenny Garda Station.
Gardai said a court appearance will follow “pending results from the Medical Bureau of Road Safety”.
